Frank McGovern, General Chairman 2005, presents Union Catholic Graduate J.P. Seebode with a $500.00 scholarship on behalf of the Parade Committee. Mr. Seebode, who was selected by the staff of Union Catholic to receive the scholarship, will be attending Stevens Institute of Technology.

2007  Peggy Cogan and Dan Cogan accepted a memorial gift of a Communion Pyx in Memory of our Past General Chairman Dennis Cogan. The presentation was made by Sharon Loftus(l) and 2008 General Chairman Gene Sully(r) at a fall parade meeting.  Bill Lavin(R), the Grand Marshal of the 2007 Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and Marylou Lenahan of the parade committee present a check to student president Leandro Zaneti (L) and vice president Freddy Sanchez of St. Mary of the Assumption High School in Elizabeth. St. Mary’s won the 2007 Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Participation Award. The award is based on the highest participation of students gathered to represent their school in the annual parade.
